Battery-powered welding machine eliminates need for long leads

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has introduced the Venture 150 S, a new battery-powered stick/TIG welding machine designed for welders working in remote and challenging environments.

According to the company, the unit can save up to 250 hours per year by eliminating the average 150 hours spent running leads and cutting an additional 100 hours lost to downtime from tripped breakers.

The machine is suitable for a variety of industries, including mechanical contracting, mobile welding and maintenance, and construction.
